Słoneczniki / Sunflowers

Wiosną tego roku w ramach uczczenia otwarcia nowego wejścia do muzeum Van Gogha, został ustawiony labirynt z słoneczników na placu muzealnym w Amsterdamie. Od chwili gdy usłyszałam o tej inicjatywie, stwierdziłam, że muszę się tam udać, więc razem z moim chłopakiem o godzinie 16:00 byliśmy na skwerze, ale niestety okazało się, że więcej ludzi nie mogło już wejść do środka. Buuuu co za głupota, przecież niektórzy pracują i nie mogą przyjść wcześniej, a poza tym była dopiero 16:00. No cóż, chociaż tyle dobrego, że mogłam wziąć słoneczniki do domu.

In the spring in order to celebrate an opening of the new entrance to Van Gogh Museum, the city of Amsterdam had built a labyrinth out of sunflowers. What a great idea, huh? It was possible to walk through this labyrinth for a whole weekend. Me and my boyfriend went there on Sunday around 16:00 and we were very dissatisfied with the fact that the labyrinth was already closing down and none else could get inside. I think it was quite stupid, because a lot of people have to work and they can come there only after work, like us for example, and anyway it was only 16:00. Eh, whatever, I still could take some sunflowers to home!
